Set up Quo (OpenPhone)

Complete each step inside Quo, then check it off here. The last step is pasting your API key — once everything's checked, you can connect.

Business or Scale plan. My Quo workspace is on the Business or Scale plan. How: check or upgrade in Quo under Settings → Billing, or sign up at quo.com/pricing. Required for automatic recording — the Starter plan can't record every call. Use voicemail, not Sona. Calls should ring you or go to voicemail — not be answered by Sona (Quo's AI agent). How: new accounts — pick “Use voicemail” in Quo's setup wizard. Existing accounts — open Settings → your phone number and make sure its call handling rings you / sends to voicemail with Sona turned off. Sona intercepts calls and stops Koda from capturing them. Automatic call recording is ON. Turned on for every customer-facing number. How: in Quo (web or desktop) go to Settings → Phone Numbers → pick your number, scroll to Call recording, and switch on Auto-record calls. Repeat for each number. ⚠️ The #1 setting to get right — without it, answered calls won't reach Koda. Call transcripts & summaries. (Optional) How: new accounts — toggle “Call transcripts and summaries” ON in the setup wizard. Existing accounts — enable transcripts in your Quo workspace AI settings. Skip it if you like — Koda transcribes every call on its own.

Generate your API key and paste it below. How: in Quo go to Settings → API (you must be an Owner or Admin), click Generate API key, name it Koda, and copy it. Ignore the “Webhooks” menu — Koda sets that up for you.
